I’m Skye and I have a passion for blondes, dimensional color, and unbe-weave-able extensions. Whether it’s a fresh new look, maintaining your favorite color or controlling your frizzy hair with a smoothing treatment, my goal is to make sure you leave feeling confident and loving your hair. Every appointment is more than just hair—it’s an experience, and I’m here to create a moment you won’t forget!

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me traveling, tackling a diy something or other, soaking up the sun, trying to golf, or sipping on a coffee (because let’s be real, I never turn one down!). I spend most of my time with my sweet little pup, Lola and my amazing boyfriend, James (thank you Tinder).

With 5+ years of experience, JLS Studios is happy to welcome you to my chair! My name is Jennifer Sturgis, and I'm the owner of JLS Studios in Lacrosse, WI. I graduated from The Salon Professional Academy and earned my Wisconsin Cosmetology license in 2017. I have a strong passion for the beauty industry and am always excited to learn new techniques and styles. I specialize in Blonding Services and Bridal Work but offer a wide variety of other services as well. I use Redken, Mizani, & Amika products on all my clients (myself including) and can offer great recommendations for what works best with your hair and lifestyle. My #1 goal in the industry is to create strong relationships with my clients and make sure they feel beautiful and heard. In 2021, I was announced as the runner-up stylist in the "Best of Lacrosse" area!
When not at the salon, you can find me spending time with my little family. I love camping, going on hikes, & enjoying time in the sun.

I graduated from the Cosmetology program at Minnesota State College Southeast in Winona,MN in 2019, and have been behind the chair ever since. With more than 5 years of hands on experience and a commitment to continued education, I’m always refining my techniques to stay on trend and inspired. I primarily use products from Verb, Eleven Australia, and Redken to deliver results that are both beautiful and healthy for your hair.
